Endosight and Ablation-fit: A Perfect Combination in Liver Ablation

Dr. Riccardo Muglia, member of the Editorial Board of the journal "Insights Into Imaging" edited by the European Society of Radiology (ESR), from ASST Papa Giovanni XXIII in Bergamo had the opportunity to test Endosight, the first 3D navigation software with augmented reality designed to assist physicians in placing percutaneous instruments with precision. During the liver ablation procedure, Endosight enabled the complete removal of the lesion, while Ablation-fit verified the success of the treatment by perfectly overlapping pre- and post-operative images.
