Privacy Policy

This privacy notice (“Privacy Policy”) explains how R.A.W. s.r.l. (hereinafter “RAW” or the “Controller”) processes the personal data of users who visit and interact with the RAW website www.rawbiomed.com (the “Website”), including data submitted through the contact forms, navigation data, cookies, and data relating to embedded third-party components (Google Maps) and the RAW social media accounts.

This Privacy Policy is provided pursuant to Article 13 GDPR. It is an independent transparency obligation and does not in itself constitute a request for consent. Where consent is the applicable legal basis for a specific processing activity, it is requested separately.

 

1    DATA CONTROLLER

The Data Controller is R.A.W. S.r.l., with registered office at Viale Premuda 46, 20129 Milano (MI), Italy, and operational headquarters at Via Soperga 13, 20127 Milano (MI), Italy, fiscal code 03462790126.

2    DATA PROTECTION OFFICER (DPO) 

R.A.W. s.r.l. has assessed that the appointment of a Data Protection Officer is not mandatory under Article 37 GDPR, as the Company does not carry out large-scale systematic processing of special categories of data or systematic monitoring of data subjects as a core activity. A preliminary assessment has been carried out and documented internally to confirm this conclusion.

 

3    CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED

Depending on how you interact with the Website, RAW processes the following categories of personal data:

  • Data provided voluntarily through the forms: first name, last name, email, company, job title, phone, country, message content and any details related to the labels/user manuals request, submitted through all contact forms available on the website;

  • Navigation data: data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols (e.g. IP addresses, URI of the requested resources, time of the request, request method, size of the response file, server response status code, and parameters relating to the operating system and browsing environment). These data are not collected to be associated with identified data subjects;

  • Cookie data: technical cookies strictly necessary for the operation and security of the Website, and analytics/statistical cookies used to understand how users interact with the Website. Analytics cookies are installed only with your consent (see the “Cookies” section below).

No special categories of data (Article 9 GDPR) are requested or processed in connection with the use of the Website.

RAW does not use the data collected through the Website for marketing or profiling purposes.

5    COOKIES

The Website, built on the Wix platform, uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device that allows the Website to function and to collect information about its use. The cookies used fall into the following categories:

When you first visit the Website, a cookie banner allows you to accept or refuse non-essential (analytics) cookies. Analytics cookies are installed only after you have given your consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie banner or the cookie settings on the Website; withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. 6    GOOGLE MAPS

 

The Website embeds Google Maps (Google LLC, USA) solely to display the location of RAW’s offices. RAW does not collect personal data through this map; however, when the map is loaded, Google may process certain data such as IP addresses in accordance with its own privacy policy. This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest of RAW in providing information about its office location).

7    NAVIGATION DATA

Navigation data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the Website and verifying its correct functioning, and are deleted immediately after processing.

8    RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data may be processed, to the extent strictly relevant to the purposes described above, by:

  • RAW personnel who need access in the performance of their duties and who are duly authorised;

  • Wix, the website platform provider, acting as Data Processor pursuant to Article 28 GDPR under the Wix Data Processing Agreement (available at www.wix.com/about/privacy-dpa-users);

  • Public authorities entitled to receive such data by law.

Personal data will not be sold or disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes.

9    TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA (EEA)

Your personal data are stored on cloud services used by RAW and by Wix, and may be processed by third-party providers such as Google (in connection with the embedded map). Wix processes data on the basis of its Data Processing Agreement: data are initially transferred to Wix.com Ltd. in Israel, a country covered by the European Commission’s adequacy decision pursuant to Article 45 GDPR, and any onward transfer to third countries takes place on the basis of appropriate safeguards pursuant to Article 46 GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses). Any transfer carried out by Google takes place under equivalent appropriate safeguards.

10    DATA RETENTION PERIOD

Data provided through the forms are retained for the time necessary to manage and respond to the request and the related communications, and thereafter only where required to comply with applicable legal obligations or to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. Navigation data are deleted immediately after processing. Cookie data are retained for the duration set out in the Wix cookie policy (https://support.wix.com/en/article/cookies-and-your-wix-site).

11    SECURITY MEASURES

RAW implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of your personal data in accordance with Article 32 GDPR, limiting access to authorized personnel who need the data to respond to requests and manage the Website.

12    YOUR RIGHTS AS A DATA SUBJECT

Pursuant to Articles 15–22 GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR);

  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR);

  • Erasure of your data, where applicable (Art. 17 GDPR);

  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR);

  • Data portability, where applicable (Art. 20 GDPR);

  • Object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR).

  • Withdraw consent to analytics cookies at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

To exercise any of the above rights, please contact the Data Controller at privacy@endo-sight.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority according to Art. 77 GDPR (in Italy: Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).

13    AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING AND PROFILING

RAW does not carry out any automated decision-making or profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR, in connection with the use of the Website, including through cookies.

14    CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE

RAW may update this privacy notice where necessary. Any material changes will be communicated to data subjects as required by applicable law.​​
