This information notice (“Privacy Policy”) explains how R.A.W s.r.l. ("RAW") processes personal data obtained in connection with your navigation of this website “rawbiomed.com” ("Website").  

This Privacy Policy is applicable to all users and visitors worldwide. By visiting the Website, you acknowledge and accept this Privacy Policy and authorize RAW to process your data in accordance to it.  

 

1    GENERAL INFORMATION 

This data protection declaration informs users of RAW’s products, website, and social media accounts about: 1) the type, scope, purpose of collected personal data (hereinafter referred to as data); 2) its use and means of processing; and 3) their general rights pertaining to the data collected. 

 

2    DATA CONTROLLER AND CONTACTS 

Data controller of the personal data processed in connection with the use of this website in the sense of applicable data protection law is RAW with registered office in Milan (MI), Viale Premuda, 46.

When RAW receives user’s request, may take steps to verify user’s identity before fulfilling the request to protect its privacy and security. 

 

3    GENERAL RIGHTS 

Users have the right to: 

Request and access to processed data (Art. 15 GDPR); 

Obtain rectification of inaccurate data or demand completion of incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR); 

Demand immediate erasure of stored data (Art. 17 GDPR); 

Restrict processing of data (Art. 18 GDPR); 

Receive data that has been provided to RAW in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit those data to other providers/responsible parties (Art. 20 GDPR); 

Object to the future processing of data based on Art. 6(1e) GDPR (public interest) or on Art. 6(1f) GDPR (safeguarding a legitimate interest) and to object to the future processing of data for direct marking purposes (Art. 21 GDPR); 

Be informed prior to giving consent and to withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3) GDPR); 

Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if considered data are processed in violation of data protection provisions (Art. 77 GDPR). 

In addition, the provider is obliged to inform all recipients to whom data have been disclosed by the provider about any correction (Art. 16 GDPR), deletion of data (Art. 17 GDPR), or the restriction of the processing (Art. 18 GDPR). However, this obligation shall not apply if such notification is impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. Notwithstanding this, the user has a right to information about these recipients. 

 

4    TYPE OF DATA PROCESSED 

4.1 Contact Information 

RAW processes data of (1) potential customers, (2) customers, and (3) other vendors to conclude, manage, and exercise contractual relationships including contact form data (first name, last name, e-mail address, company, message, consent data) for the purpose of administration and management of contractual relationships and compliance under the provision of Art. 6(1f) GDPR. 

 

4.2 Navigation data  

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Website acquire, during their normal operation and your browsing the Website, some data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but that by their very nature could allow users of the Website (and therefore you) to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or the domain names of the computers used by you to connect to the Website, the Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error) and other parameters related to the operating system and the user's computer environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the Website and to check its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after processing. 

 

4.3 Cookies 

RAW uses “cookies” implemented by the website creation platform, “WIX” that are described at the following link Cookie Policy | Wix.com, in particular it’s possible to find the definition of cookie, the reason for using, duration and categories of cookies, a table containing cookies.  

Users consent to the cookies by continuing using the website.  

 

4.4 Data provided voluntarily by the data subject 

With the exception of navigation data and those collected through "cookies", RAW collects and stores email addresses for notification purposes in case a revision of a previously downloaded document is available. In certain cases (such as “instructions for use” for medical devices) RAW is legally obliged to such notification (Art. 5(8) and Art. 5(12) of Regulation (EU) 2021/2226 on electronic instructions for use of medical devices).  

 

4.5 Google Maps 

RAW uses Google Maps (Google LLC USA) to display its location, and optimize its internet presence (Art. 6(1f) GDPR) by processing user-related information stored in the cookies. The service is considered to provide an “adequate privacy protection” under the “EU-US Privacy Shield” and to be in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy, Google Terms of Service, and Google Maps/Earth Terms of Service. 

 

5    USERS OF OUR WEBSITE 

Data will only be processed by RAW and by WIX  to the extent necessary to provide a functional and user-friendly website and within the framework of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 

Data processed when using RAW’s website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply, the deletion of the data does not conflict with any legal storage obligations, and no other information on individual processing procedures is provided below.  

 

5.1 Storage 

Your personal data are stored in cloud service of RAW and WIX, whose servers are located in the European Union, Israel  or a third country, territory, or one or more specific sectors within such third country that the European Commission has deemed to provide an adequate level of protection. Such processing and transfer will be in accordance with the Data Processing Addendum for users (“DPA”) - Wix - DPA Users. 

Save for the navigation data and those collected through "cookies", your personal data will be retained by RAW as long as the processing of the data in accordance with this Privacy Policy is necessary to the management of the e-mail communications sent to RAW and except in cases where the law imposes to R.A.W: obligations of longer keeping. In the case of data processed to prevent or prosecute illegal acts, in the interest of RAW or third parties, RAW will keep the personal data as long as reasonably necessary to the protection and/or enforcement of rights of RAW from the moment RAW becomes aware of the illicit or of its potential commission. 

 

5.2 Data Security  

RAW uses commercially reasonable electronic and procedural measures to safeguard personally identifiable information in our possession against loss, theft or unauthorized use, disclosure or modification. We limit access to your personal data to employees whom we believe reasonably need that information to provide support, products, or services to you or to fulfil their roles within our organization.

You have the right to file a claim with the Italian Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data.   

 

6    USERS OF OUR SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS 

6.1 LinkedIn 

RAW frequently and regularly promotes its activities using its LinkedIn Social Media account. The service is considered to provide an “adequate privacy protection” under the “EU-US Privacy Shield” and to be in accordance with LinkedIn’s Privacy Policy.
